Outcome: a validated, revenue-ready SaaS product that bridges healthcare expertise with digital execution.

The transition period presented numerous challenges, including talent attrition, maintaining a large customer base, and reducing operational costs. Upon assuming leadership of the development team, I conducted a thorough examination of the current workload and an analysis of all utilized technologies. My efforts focused on streamlining existing processes and integrating the strategic plans from the parent company, Enel, particularly in reducing operational costs while maintaining strong customer relationships. To better align with Enel’s strategy, we implemented new directives for energy efficiency in smart home solutions, fostering synergies for excellence. Viva Labs joined Enel’s global network of partners, and under my leadership, we launched new projects, such as electricity efficiency technology, in collaboration with partners from Brazil and Asian suppliers. These new technologies were seamlessly integrated into our existing smart home architecture and initially rolled out in Italy and Spain, with subsequent launches in Brazil. From a business perspective, operational expenses were reduced by 30% due to continuous cloud infrastructure optimization strategies. I also conducted risk analyses on all technologies, tools, and data to ensure smooth integration into Enel’s platform without interruptions. Collaboration with Enel’s business teams ensured a deep understanding of Viva Labs’ operations and architecture, while working with external auditors guaranteed the smooth transfer of business relations under Enel’s governance. The post-merger process was successfully completed in 2024, marking a significant milestone in Viva Labs’ journey and highlighting the crucial role played by Nybrotech’s CTO services in this seamless transformation.
Norsk Gjenvinning	Streamlined post-merger integration across teams and infrastructure

They conducted a thorough risk analysis, interviewing stakeholders and third parties, analyzing financial reports, and observing current operations. Weekly meetings were scheduled with key stakeholders to report progress. The final deliverable included a comprehensive analysis of cost synergies, identified challenges, and solutions. This report provided Norsk Gjenvinning with a clear path forward for successful integration and enhanced operational efficiency.
